"Spouses, Retired Agents/Life Members and youth are all invited to participate in the professional development tours and the retired agent/life members tours. Please feel welcome to come along for these educational opportunities"

IMPORTANT NOTICE: After Friday, May 23, 2003, anyone signing up for tours will still have to pay the $5.00 fee for each tour AND arrange to drive themselves because all vans and buses are filled and committed

Manteo Waterfront including Roanoke Island Festival Park and the North Carolina Maritime Museum on Roanoke Island. Enjoy living history interpretations, interactive exhibits and a tour of the Elizabeth II, a representative 16th century sailing vessel that brought England's colonists to Roanoke Island. The Maritime Museum features the George Washington Creef Boat Shop where visitors can watch boat restoration and construction at a working boatshop. (Estimated travel time to the site - 15 minutes.) -Approximate capacity, 40 people.
