Overview

The North Central District of the NCACAA would like to invite Extension Agents and Specialists to Rocky Mount "The City on the Rise", for a three day retreat. The traditional format of our NCACAA State Meeting has been abbreviated to support the CEMP efforts for "A Summit on the Future of ANR/CRD Extension Programs in North Carolina." The incorporation of these two events was a logical step given the current budget problems and time constraints we all face.

The Summit for agents and specialists will begin with a luncheon on Tuesday and conclude with the luncheon on Thursday. We plan to have an exciting softball tournament on Wednesday night with teams representing each Extension District and a specialist team. Dr. Jon Ort, Dr. Joe Zublena and Dr. Ray McKinnie have agreed to officiate the championship game. Following the Summit wrap-up luncheon, the North Carolina Association of County Agricultural Agents will conduct their annual business meeting and awards banquet. Specialists and guests are welcome to attend the NCACAA awards banquet by purchasing banquet tickets.

We have several exciting spouse and children activities and a retired agents tour planned. We hope you plan to join us in Rocky Mount for an engaging program and an opportunity for fellowship.
